My sincere condolences to the entire family--I'm very sorry to learn this news. Rick was a personal friend and Shelby colleague that the combination of time and distance over the years didn't dissolve. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

My condolences to the Dusseau family. Dick's passion for football was contagious. He has been and will be missed by those of us who had him influence our lives here at Shelby.

Dear Kathy and family - I understand the shock and disbelief you're experiencing in Dick's passing. The picture on this obituary is what I remember as we sat across from you at the Polish Dinner a year ago at Rothbury! Dick always had a big smile and a wonderful sense of humor - and our daughter, Lisa, also liked him as a teacher. He was a good neighbor and friend - and will be missed by so many. My prayers are with you as you go forward - and don't be afraid to accept the outreaching of many to you in your grief. May God bless you all!

My deepest sympathies to the Dusseau family. He was a part of my childrens' lives for many years both as a teacher and a coach. He always had an encouraging word for his players and helped them to enjoy the sport as well as learn what he had to convey.

Met Dick at the White Lake Senior Center. Dick was a very likable guy and I am so sorry to see that he has left us . He will be greatly missed. I did not realize how accomplished he was, nor his involvement in the surrounding communities. May God comfort his family in this time of loss.

So sorry to hear about MR Dusseau. He was a friend but always MR Dusseau to me. Absolutely loved him as a teacher but especially as my track coach. So very caring and encouraging! What a great effect he had on So Many. He also had me be the first athletic trainer at Shelby High School after attending summer camp at GVSU way back in 79'. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
