I met Freida when I attended The Church of Christ in Shelby.. Her and Leroy were both very sweet people.. I pray that the Angels will wrap her family in Their healing and loving wings of comfort.

I have many fond memories of this lovely lady. The after school "snack" that was enough for dinner that she insisted we eat all of, the many games of dice, the AMAZING fried chicken. I was just a friend of a grandkid but she treated me like one of the family. Just one of the sweetest ladies anyone could ever know. Much love and hugs to her family and friends. Her memory will love in our hearts forever. <3

What a wonderful legacy your mother and your father passed on to all of you. They raised a great family. Your mother was such a sweetie. I believe I knew her all of my life, from the Church of Christ days through the hugs at the Pizza Depot. She truly was a child of God. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My deepest sympathies to all of Frieda's family.......no matter when I saw her around, she always was smiling and had a hello. Her family is her greatest legacy - all a parent could want in loving, close-knit, caring children. She is even happier now than she was when she was here. Do not mourn long, children - remember all the fun memories. She would not want grieving - she is happier now than ever and would want you to think of her that way. Sending my thoughts and prayers. Freida was a good role model for her children and anyone who knew her. She loved everyone and was always giving everyone a hug and "I love you" was always moments away.... She and her husband LeRoy were blessed with a large family and coming from a large family herself made for a big extended family.... I knew her through the years and she would always ask me what I was working on now...whether it be knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, etc.... She was a lady with an inquiring mind.....loved that woman.....heaven gained another angel indeed...
