Though it has been many years since you were our pastors in Watervliet, we have never forgotten the ministry of both of you at Midway Baptist Church. Elda was very dear to our entire family. My parents are one of many that have welcomed her with open arms to her many rewards in heaven.

The saints are rejoicing! Our loss and heavens gain! Elda Ann was and still is (in heaven) one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. So positive, poised and patient. Supportive of her husband, children and to anyone else that needed a listening ear or advice. Solid faith built on her Savior Jesus Christ. In his arms she is resting and at peace. Our prayers to you Pastor Harden and to your dear family.

Kay and I want to express our prayers for you, Pastor and family. We remember with great joy the time we spent with you as our Pastor at Midway. Through the years we have watched as the Lord lead you to different churches to see how you and your wife showed the Love of Christ to the congregations. We remember the tenderness, love and support Elda Ann and you gave to all. We are praying for you as you grieve and remember all that God has done with you for His glory.

I went to a Bible study many years ago at Joy Aebig's home, and Elda Ann was our leader. She was a wonderful teacher and a sweet and caring person. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this sad time.

Pastor Hardin & Family,
Mike & I would like to express our deepest sympathy for your loss of such a special soul. Elda Ann was an excellent example to us as how a true follower of our Lord should be. She was a caring friend in good & bad times. A wonderful mentor to the ladies at North Casnovia Baptist Church. She enriched our lives more than she knew and will always be warmly remembered.God blessed us all from having known her.

My prayers are with your family. Elda Ann was such an influence in my life. She was there at the most difficult time in my life, and taught me so much about living a Godly life. She will be missed by many.

Pastor and Mrs. Harden were such a special part of our lives at Leonard Heights Baptist Church. As a young girl I remember her having our young girls Sunday School Class over for a sleepover-lots of laughs and great fun! But most of all Mrs. Harden led me to the Lord after Sunday School so she holds a very special place in my heart. My mom and I just want you to know how much she meant to us and you are in our prayers and thoughts as you grieve.

Elda Ann was a quietly elegant woman. She was a soft spoken, caring Christian who was always approachable and loving. Many memories of Pastor and Elda Ann at North Casnovia Baptist Church. Our sympathy to the family. Praise God for giving us the opportunity to know and love Elda Ann.

Elda Ann Harden was one of the most GODLY WOMEN that I knew. If anyone needed to know just how to walk with God.... all we had to do was look at Elda Ann Harden. One of her quotes that I have used, over and over again... is one that she shared with me when I was talking to her about my own children... and how I would pray for the "spouse" they would have when they grew up. She said, "I never prayed my children would marry a Christian.... but I would pray they would marry a GROWING Christian." .... That has been my prayer for my sons! Our loss... Heaven's gain!!
