James "Jimmy" Rocky DePeel

James Rocky "Jimmy" DePeel, age 27 of Walkerville, passed away early Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Grand Rapids following a very brief illness.  Jim was born in Shelby to Rocky and Kimberly (Stanley) DePeel.

He was a life resident of Walkerville and graduated from Walkerville High School in 2008.  He worked in trucking for Arbre Farms and later in sales at the family business.  Jimmy enjoyed hunting.  He had a personality and a grin to match that were both larger than life.  He will be missed by a multitude of friends and family.

He is survived by his parents, Rocky and Kim; his sister, Sara Kay (Richard) Ragen; niece, Kaylee Sue Ragen; grandmother, Mary DePeel; and his grandfather, Arthur G. Stanley.  He was preceded in death by his brother, John DePeel; his grandfather, James DePeel; and grandmother, Sondra Faye Stanley.

A memorial gathering is will be held Saturday, November 25, 1 pm at Ruby Creek Conservation Club, 8152 E. Washington Road, Branch, MI 49402 .
