Dolly A. Taylor

Dolly A. Taylor, age 79, of Mears, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in Muskegon.  She was born January 18, 1938 in Hart, the daughter of Chester and Freda (Forbes) Worth.

Dolly was raised in Mears and graduated from Hart High School in 1957.  She married Richard Taylor on June 8, 1957.  Dolly was a lifelong resident of Oceana County.  She was a homemaker for many years before working at Ed's Malt Shop in Hart, for Dick Walsworth sorting asparagus and later for Bill Saunders making Christmas wreathes.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" on September 30, 2003.  She is survived by her daughter, Tresea (Bill) Morgan; grandsons, Cherokee and Jeremy (Kasey) Morgan; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Corbin Morgan; brother, Don (Jera) Worth; sisters, Jean (George, deceased) Clintworth and Judy (Gary, deceased) Beck; and many nieces and nephews.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; and  her sisters, and brothers-in-laws, Gladys (Clayton) Latch and Viola (Bill) McGregor.  

There will be graveside service Thursday, September 21st, 1 pm at Mears Cemetery.  Arrangements by Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.
