Mr. William "Bill" Gerard Kelley, 77, of Montague, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born June 17, 1945, in Medford, Massachusetts, the son of William and Gladys (Walsh) Kelley.

Bill worked as a police officer in the Boston area for many years. As a result of smoke inhalation, during the course of his job, he developed breathing difficulties and was declared disabled, retiring early.  Having respiratory difficulties, he moved to the Tucson Arizona area, were he lived for 40 years.  

Bill is survived by: his children, Alexzandra "Zan" (Daniel) Trevino, Susan Luna, William (Stella) Kelley, David (Che) Walker, Danielle (Keith Hurst) Kripner, Sean (Danielle) Kelley; grandchildren, Alexander Trevino, Sarah (Jeff) Woodworth, Clare Kelley, Liam Kelley, Jared Walker, Emilia Luna, Jordan Luna, Michael Kripner, Christopher Kripner, Noah Kripner, and Marcus Kelley; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Gideon, Duncan, and Violet.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sharron Kay Walker-Kelley.

Visitation will be held from 1 pm until 3 pm, Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Avenue, Shelby Michigan 49455.  A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2023 at the Volney Cemetery.
