William Alexander Craner, 64, of Hesperia, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born June 17, 1957, in Fremont, the son of James Sr. and Darlene (Strong) Craner.
A proud veteran, Bill served his country in the US Marine Corps. After many years of employment, he retired from Howmet Aerospace. Bill enjoyed many hobbies, including woodworking and grilling; most would say he was the "grill master.”
Bill enjoyed attending any sporting events that his grandchildren participated in. His family was most important to him, and he will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him.
Bill is survived by: his wife, Sherrilee; his children, Kate Craner, Kayleen (Eric Rosema) Craner, Tom (Sahar Mallet) Mikulski, Rachel (Kyle) Kirwin, and Loren Mikulski; his siblings, Nancy (Brian) Kendall, Jim (Debra) Craner, and John (Tracy) Heykoop; his grandchildren, Gavin, Jaimison, Landin, Naydene, Kinsley, Lexi, Ivy, Bryce, and Talulah; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by: his parents; father-in-law, Robert Thomas; sister-in-law, Karan Walker; and brother-in-law and best friend, Dave Thomas.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 6, 2022, at Country Side Church of Christ, 8063 Loop Road, Hesperia, Michigan, 49421, with a luncheon to follow at the American Legion Post #411, 4075 South 198th Avenue, Hesperia.
