Timothy Arl Boone, age 90, of Twin Lake and formerly of Pentwater, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.   He was born January 28, 1928 in Muskegon, the son of Forrest and Mary (Hanks) Boone.

Tim graduated from Muskegon High School.  He worked at Clark's Boot Shop in Muskegon upon graduation from high school and later co-owned and operated Tim and Jerry's Shoe Store in Grand Haven and Holland.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Gloria (Anderson) Boone; his son, Mark Kevin Boone; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and his brother, Jerry Boone.   He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Timothy Norman Boone, his brother, Jim Boone and sisters, Delores Foster and Coralee Kessler.

He was known as an outstanding fisherman, a good husband and father, loving grandfather, mentor to many and friend to all.

There will be private family services for Mr. Boone.

A celebration of his life is planned for Spring of 2019.
