Thomas (Tom) William Dalbke, 75, of Montague passed away Friday October 3, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 19, 1950, the son of Charles and Lorraine (Detmer) Dalbke.

Tom spent his career as an engineer for the GTE Corporation where he earned many awards for his outstanding work. Most of his life was spent in Michigan, having transferred to Texas for a short while for work. In his spare time, Tom was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and golf. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family.

Tom is survived by: his daughter, Carrie Dalbke; grandchildren, Richard Blake McCormick, Cierra McCormick, Haley Hawkins, and Hannah Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aila, and Elliot; sisters, Jill Olson and Gail Clements; many nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles and Lorraine; brothers, Ken and Robert (Bud) Dalbke; and sister, Lois Bodach.

Cremation has taken place; no formal services are scheduled at this time.

Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
