Sara L. Bailey, 78, of Montague, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025. She was born September 4, 1947, in Beaver, Ohio, the daughter of Lawrence and Leatha (Haney) Biggs.

Sara was a licensed cosmetologist and worked 23 years at Optalis Health and Rehabilitation, formally SKLD Healthcare Facility in Whitehall. She retired in 2005.

Sara is survived by: her loving husband of 54 years, Ron; children, Ronald (Marilee) Bailey and Gayle Bailey; grandchildren, Henry and Jack.

Sara was preceded in death by: her parents, Lawrence and Leatha; two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 PM, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at White Lake United Methodist Church, 8555 Cook Street, Montague, Michigan 49437, with Pastor Tim Dibble officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 PM, Monday, December 22, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455 and again from 11 AM until the time of services Tuesday at White Lake United Methodist Church.
