Santa Gentyla Obituary

Santa Monica Gentyla, age 99, of Hart, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Ludington, Michigan. She was born May 4, 1918 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Leo and Kathryn (Tindull) Fidis.

She lived in Aurora, Illinois for many years before coming to Hart in 1966. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Gentyla in 1979. Mrs. Gentyla was a physical therapy aid for many years at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Weare Township.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Ronald) Kaye of Maryland; her granddaughter, Rebecca Kaye of Maryland; and nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, Santa was preceded in death by her brother, Morse Fidis and sister, Delphina Benche.
