Roy Donald Hitts

          Roy Donald Hitts, our stubborn, grumpy, old man, died Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the age of 74.  He was born November 12, 1946, in Fremont, Michigan.

          Roy worked at the foundry and a food processing plant.  In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing and doing crafts.  Most of all, Roy loved spending time with his grandchildren.

          Roy is survived by: his children, Donald (Rhonda) Hitts, Irma (Jimmy) Summerall, Jody (Brent Hilliard) LaDoux, Kimberley Hitts, and Kelly (Dan) Fahrlander; 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lester (Judy) Hitts, and Francis Hitts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          Roy was preceded in death by: his mother and step-father, Pearl and Phillip Venneman; his brothers, John, Byron, and Stan; and his brother, Glen at birth.

          A celebration of Roy’s life was held Sunday, May 16, 2021.
