Ronald Stuart Monczunski, 33, of Muskegon, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023. He was born March 24, 1990, in Shelby, the son of Thomas Monczunski Sr. and Karen Skinner.

Ronnie had a kind heart. He was a loving father, son, brother, and uncle. Ronnie enjoyed hanging out with his kids, nieces, nephews, and friends. He had a great personality, and he could always make you laugh. Ronnie was a homebody; he liked to watch movies, especially his favorite, Masters of the Universe. Although he had some dark times in his life, Ronnie was seeking the light. He was a participant at West Michigan Teen Challenge and recently was baptized and gave his life to Christ.

Ronnie is survived by: his father, Thomas Monczunski Sr.; mother, Karen (Dwayne Rowe) Skinner; children, Jeremiah Shelton, Layna Shelton, Skarlett Monczunski, and Emma Monczunski; sisters, Deborah Burr and Jennifer Monczunski; brother,  Thomas (Alexa) Monczunski Jr.; grandparents, Ronald (Colleen) Skinner, Dorothy (Bill) Byrd, and Betty Monczunski; nieces, Alexia, Jurni, Haidyn, and Halli; nephews, Chase, Liam, Dylan, Aidan, Landyn, Jaxtyn, Kasyn, and Jaxen; 7 great-nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ronnie was preceded in death by: grandpa, Theodore Monczunski; and uncle, Stuart Monczunski. 

Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall, 900 Warner Street, Whitehall, MI 49461, with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 N Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan, 49455.
