Ronald Bert Benning Obituary
Mr. Ronald "Ron" Bert Benning, 78, of Shelby, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 27, 1944, in Hart, to Bert and Louise (Sturtevant) Benning.
Ron married Lois (Schihl) on June 27, 1963, at the Shelby United Methodist Church. He owned and operated the Hart Body shop for a number of years.
Ron is survived by: his loving wife of 59 years, Lois; children, Sandra (Joe Fessenden) Benning, Debra (Bradley) Betts, Scott (Lisa) Benning; 3 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Per Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
The Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
