Nedra Louise (McLouth) Baron, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 10, 2024. She was born August 13, 1952, in Shelby, the daughter of Max and Ruth (Derenzy) McLouth.

Nedra was a loving and caring wife, mom, and grandma, known for her kindness and warmth that touched everyone she met. A longtime resident of Silver Lake, she cherished the beauty of her surroundings, having deep roots in the community that spanned generations. Her home was filled with the joyful energy of her beloved pets, Harley and Leroy, alongside the many cats and dogs that had graced her life. In the late eighties and early nineties, she brought her vibrant spirit to Russ’ as a hostess and waitress, where her genuine smile made everyone feel welcome. Nedra found joy in crocheting towel toppers, lovingly gifting them to family and friends, and her kitchen was always bustling with delicious meals prepared for her loved ones. A true lover of movies and music, she filled her home with laughter and melodies, creating cherished memories that will last forever.

Nedra is survived by: her loving husband, Ronald Baron; children, Thad (Erin) Nyholt, Tanya (Adam) Schulz, Tracy (Shane) Sievers, and Todd (Ashley) Nyholt; grandchildren, Clark, Nash, Elle, Anna, Ace, Dax, Knox, Sawyer, Lucas and Tegan; brothers, David (Julie) McLouth and John (Karen) McLouth.

Nedra was preceded in death by: her parents, Max and Ruth (Derenzy) McLouth; and her sister, Sally.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan, 49455, visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
