Michael "Mick" L. Sallgren

Michael L. "Mick" Sallgren, age 68, of Montague, passed away Friday, Novemer 5, 2021. Mick was born January 18, 1953 in Shelby to Robert L. Sallgren and Maxine (Schmiedeknecht) Sallgren. He was employed at Whitehall Leather Company for twenty-seven years before his retirement.  Mick served on the Montague Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed league bowling, hunting and fishing.

Mick is survived by his siblings, Aletha (Ron) Prince, Ray (Sheryl) Sallgren and Karen (Larry) Plaunt; and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant brother, Robert. Suggested memorials for Mick are Faith Lutheran Church, the Montague Fire Department or for family funeral expenses.

Visitation is Tuesday, November 9th, 6-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 10th, 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church, 711 Alice Street, Whitehall  with Rev. Dennis Lassanske officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Montague.
