Michael Saunders Obituary

Michael L. Saunders of Shelby passed on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Whitehall following a long illness. Michael was born December 23, 1947 in Fowlerville, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1972. Mike moved to Shelby in 1979. He loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his children, Jackie (Albert) Revilla, Marnee (Ryan) Furman, Michael (Misstee) Saunders and Pat (Amy) Saunders; his grandchildren, Joe (Alison) Revilla, Manuel Revilla, Austin Revilla, Wyatt Furman, Lincoln Furman, Willow Saunders, Harper Saunders, Gavin Saunders and Sophia Saunders; great-grandchildren, Lexi Williams, Ella Revilla, Eli Revilla and Emmalyn Revilla; his mother, Lillian Coll-Yarroll; brothers, Phillip (Yvonne) Saunders and Bradley (Marsha) Saunders; sisters, Janine (Steve) Makowski, Marlia Bielman and Sandra Nelson; several nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Clyde Roy. Mike was preceded in death by his father, LeRoy Saunders and brother, Gordon Saunders.

Per his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home in Shelby.
