Martha Bernice Trevino, 67, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born June 30, 1956, in Detroit, the daughter of Pedro and Mary (Flatt) Camargo Sr.

Martha Bernice Trevino was more than just a mother to our family; she was everyone’s mom and a shinning example of love and selflessness to the entire community. She embodied the true meaning of love and taught us all what it means to truly care for one another. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her warmth made everyone feel like they were the only one in her presence. She left an indelible mark on every life she touched and her legacy will live on through the countless people she impacted. We can all learn from her strength and resilience, even in the most difficult of times.

Martha Bernice and Arnulfo Trevino Sr. met and married at a young age and had 5 beautiful children, whom they raised and loved unconditionally.  Even after their separation they remained life long friends.

Martha is survived by: her children, Christina (Buddy) Copper, Arnulfo Trevino Jr., Olga Trevino, Anthony (Jennifer Steidley) Trevino and Gregory Trevino; grandchildren, Kaylynn Trevino, Tyler Trevino, Yasmine Trevino, Lennox (Kearra) Trevino, McKenzie Copper, Brandon Roberts, Iziaha Smith, Diego Trevino, Kelly Copper, Ariana Trevino, Xavier Trevino, Zoie Trevino, Jordan Trevino, Hailey Herzstaft, Landon Trevino, Sabrina Trevino, Adele Trevino, Daleney Trevino, Wyatt Trevino, and Lance Kroll; great-grandchildren, Zion, Reyna, Carmella, Laylah Bernice, Willow, Bellamy, River, Persephone, Aphrodite; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Candy (Joe) Sarazin, Cecelia Camargo, Helen (Dave) Towne, Francis Fawley, Lupita (Scott) Broner; brother, Tony (Kris) Camargo.

Martha was preceded in death by: her parents, Pedro and Mary (Flatt) Camargo Sr,; sister, Virginia Camargo; brothers, Paul, Pedro Jr., Vincent and baby Tony Camargo; nieces, Kelly Camargo and Tonia Sarazin; brother-in-law David Fawley; numerous aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan, 49455, with a praying of the rosary at 6:30 pm. A luncheon will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 780 S. 72nd Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455.
