Mrs. Linda Diana Gilbert, 74, of Whitehall, left this earth and gained her wings, Friday, January 27, 2023. She was born June 6, 1948, in Muskegon, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Campbell) Barding.

Linda married Robert Gilbert on July 6, 1968. Together they raised two daughters in a loving home.

Linda is survived by: her daughters, Lovida (David) Newman of Holton, Rhonda (Mark) Farber of Muskegon; grandchildren, Sierra Newman, Mckenna Newman, Andrew Newman, Robert Gilbert and Franchesca Gilbert.

Linda was preceded is death by: her husband; both parents; a grandson; two sisters; and her mother-in-law.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2 pm, Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Avenue, Shelby Michigan 49455, with Lovida Newman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm at the Harris Funeral Home, prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider donations to assist with funeral expenses.
