Lind R. Thompson, of Stony Lake, passed away at the age of 64 Thursday morning, October 28th at Mercy Hospital after losing his battle with cancer. He was born February 8, 1957 in Spokane, Washington to Lewie and Delores Thompson. He was also a twin (Cindy).
Lind served in the US Army 1975-1977. He was stationed in Germany.
Lind is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Melody; daughter, Stephanie Thompson (Brian); son, Lindy Jr. (Ana-Alise); one granddaughter, Freyjd Thompson; sisters, Sandy Rader (Bill), Cindy Brown (Ed), Kathy Trombley (John), and Bonnie Nichols; and brother, Mark (Vicki). He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, November 13, 11 am - 2 pm at the VFW Post 3256, 9370 Walsh Road in Montague. Interment will be in Evergreen-Stony Lake Cemetery.
