Lawrence G. Winterhalter, Jr.

Lawrence G. "Larry" Winterhalter Jr., of New Era, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  He was born January 5, 1973 in Grand Rapids to Lawrence G. Winterhalter
and Jeanette "Betty"  (Bowen) Winterhalter.

Larry was raised in Newaygo and Missouri. The family returned to Michigan and Larry graduated from Shelby High School.  He married Anita Webster on July 25, 1998.  Larry enjoyed woodworking and radio broadcasting.  He was currently employed at Aludyne in Montague.

He is survived by his wife, Anita; his children, Lawrence G. Winterhalter III, Joseph Winterhalter, Steven Winterhalter and Mary Winterhalter; his brother, Rudy McConahay; and sisters,  Jonna (Denny) Prindle, Cindy (John) Heller,  Karen Smith, Cathy Warren, and Lori (Juan) Dometriz.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  

Visitation is Monday, November 29th, from Noon to 2 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby with a graveside service to follow at 2 pm at Mennonite Cemetery on 96th Avenue east of Shelby.
