Karen Gale Obituary

Karen Sue Gale, age 71, of Hart, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Hart. She was born October 9, 1947 in Hart, the daughter of Clarence and Peggy (Miller) Amstutz.

Karen was a life resident of the Hart - Mears area. She graduated from Hart High School in 1966.

She was employed as a corrections officer with the Oceana County Sheriff's Department. Karen loved animals. She was an "animal whisperer", especially with horses and dogs.

She married Everett "Butch" Gale who preceded her in death. Their children are Kimberley (Jeff) Scofield, Jerrad (Shauna) Gale, Christopher Gale and Jason (Sherrie) Gale. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike Amstutz and Tom (Linda) Amstutz; sister, Linda Hasty; and nieces and nephews. Karen was also preceded in death by her parents, her brother, John Amstutz and her infant sister, Judy.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Oceana County Medical Care Facility for their loving care. There will be no services.
