June Alice (Swinton) Helmer Obituary
June A. Helmer, 96, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was born June 1, 1926, in Grant Township, the daughter of Willis and Nellie (Miller) Swinton.
June married Robert Helmer on June 4, 1945, they had 75 wonderful years together. She was a devoted wife and mother. June loved spending time with her beautiful family.
June is survived by: her children, Sandy Merrill and Larry Helmer; 13 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren,
June was preceded in death by: her parents, Willis and Nellie; husband, Robert; daughter, Vicki Hayes; son, Richard Helmer; her sisters.
Graveside services will be conducted at a date later this summer in Elbridge Township Cemetery.
Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
