Judi Elaine Perysian, age 82, of Hesperia, Michigan, passed peacefully and went home to be with the Lord. “O death, where is your sting?”
On May 13, 2025, Judi was called home due to complications during a heart procedure at Trinity Health in Muskegon.
Judi was born on May 18, 1942, at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan, to her loving parents, Walter and Jeanette Beamer. She spent her early years in Norton Shores, Michigan, where she graduated from Norton Shores High School. During this time, you could often find Judi soaking up God’s sunshine and spending time at the lake.
After graduation, Judi worked at her parents’ pharmacy in Grand Haven, Michigan, but always made time to visit her grandparents in Stoney Lake. One of her favorite pastimes during those visits was watching the horses run and play.
Later in life, Judi became the proud mother of three beautiful boys: Scott, Mark, and Randy Falconer. Her sons were her greatest joy. Her faith was deeply tested when her oldest son, Scott, passed away as a baby from pneumonia.
Judi was an extraordinarily kind, loving, and forgiving mother, wife, Nana, and friend. No matter what challenges life brought, she was always there for her boys—through both the good and the difficult times. As a devoted and hardworking mother, Judi did whatever was needed to provide for her family.
In 1972, Judi and her two sons joined Newman Chapel, where her faith and love for God began to blossom. In 1981, the Lord touched her heart, and she and her youngest son, Randy, were baptized together at Montague Baptist Church. Judi prayed fervently for her family, and in 1988, God answered by blessing her with Eric Perysian. On October 6, 1990, Judi and Eric were united in holy matrimony. Together, they lived a life devoted to their faith and their family.
Judi faithfully stood by Eric’s side as they shared the love and word of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Her devotion to the Lord guided every step of her life. On November 10, 2002, Judi and Eric became official members of Newman Christian Community Church. Judi truly loved her church family and found great joy in the Praise Band and the Joy Circle. She believed deeply in the power of prayer and lived her life in service to Christ.
No matter the struggles brought to her, Judi was always ready with a hug and a prayer.
The outpouring of love and support for Eric during this time is a testament to Judi’s compassion and care for others. Judi cherished and loved Jesus, her husband, sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and church friends who became like family. She will be deeply missed. A void remains in our hearts, but comfort comes from knowing God’s truth and the promises He gives to those who believe.
Judi is preceded in death by her infant son, Scott Eric Falconer; her loving parents, Walter and Jeanette Bramer; her oldest brother, Chuck Bramer; and her sister-in-law, Sharron Bramer.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Eric Perysian; two sons, Mark (Wendy) Falconer and Randy (Deborah) Falconer; grandchildren, Monica Falconer, Judi (Alan) Propper, Zac (Kailee) Falconer, and Jenna Falconer; five beautiful great-grandchildren; her younger brother, Bob Bramer; sister-in-law Marlene Bramer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
