Jeffrey Leigh Buter Obituary

Jeffrey Leigh Buter was a man of unwavering faith, compassion, and endless kindness. His authenticity and genuine spirit touched everyone he met. He was a guiding light for his family and friends, always ready with support, wisdom, and encouragement.

On Friday, June 7, 2024, he left us to spend time with past friends, family, and most importantly, his Lord and Savior. Although his time with us was cut short, he dedicated every minute to making the world a better place than he found it.

We are so grateful for the time he dedicated to his family and community. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be profoundly missed by everyone who has been touched by his selflessness, acceptance, and unconditional love.

Family and community were everything to Jeff. He brought folks together. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment. And in those moments, he left a permanent mark on our souls. We will always carry his love and the things we learned along the way in our hearts.

To our Dad: we promise to remember to "always let all of our good come out, all of the time."

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at 6 pm, Friday, June 21, 2024 at Elbridge Community Church, 23700 N. 136th Avenue, Hart, Michigan, 49420. A potluck luncheon will be provided.

Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
