Janet L. Ward, age 76, of Shelby, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 14, 2019. She was born December 17, 1942 in Fremont, the daughter of John and Gwen DeKuiper. She was married to Oren D. Ward, Jr. on February 9, 1963. He preceded her in death in 2014.

She is survived by her daughter, Michele Goddard; granddaughters, Britney Goddard and Emily Spencer Ward; and her siblings, Dennis, Karen, Joan, Dyann and Kay.

There will be no services.
