Jack Maynard Spence

Mr. Jack Maynard Spence, 69, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 6, 1953, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, the son of William and Geraldine (Ferris) Spence.
 
Jack loved to ride his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, travel with his family and fish. He worked many years for GTE and then Verizon phone company where he retired from. 
 
Jack is survived by his: children, Justin (Margaret) Spence, Stephanie (Marshall) Frees; grandchildren, Trevor Spence, Ashley Frees and Spencer Frees; brother, Carlton (Deb) Spence; sisters, Scarlett (Noel) Tow and Billie Brown; and many nieces and nephews. 
 
Jack was preceded in death by his: parents, William and Geraldine; wife, Bobbi Spence (Kroll). 
 
A celebration of Jack's life will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm, Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455.
