Hollis “Hal” Russell McCaul, 68, of Rothbury, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 6, 1955, in Ionia, the son of Charles and Annette (Luce) McCaul.
 
Hal is Survived by: his son, John (Becky) McCaul; life partner Deb Garner; Sid Campbell, Jennifer Nash; grandchildren, Johnathon McCaul, Annie McCaul, Mathew McCaul, Emilee McCaul, Logan McCaul, Autumn Phipps and Hunter Phipps; 5 great grand children; many nieces and nephews; sister, Dawn Montgomery. 
 
Hal was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles and Annette McCaul; son, Russell McCaul; brothers, Charles McCaul and Henry McCaul.
 
Per Hal’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Hal’s life will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 27, 2024, Rothbury Community Church, 2500 W. Winston Road, Rothbury, Michigan 49452, with pastor Luke Craymer officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
