Herald Raymond "Ray" Rood, 57, passed away peacefully May 20, 2025. He was born April 18, 1968, in Shelby, the son of Herald and Sharon (Bates) Rood Sr. 

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, June 14, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5631 W Stony Lake Rd, New Era, MI 49446. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church with a luncheon immediately in the fellowship hall.

Memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
