George Farber

George "Al" Farber, age 89, passed away October 14, 2018. He was retired from Lift Tech.

He is survived by his wife, Eva; his children, Albert (Pam) Farber of Holton, Darlene (Rafael) Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, TX and Floyd (Debra) Farber of Leesburg, IN; stepchildren, Malinda Power, Karen (Robert) Dunlap and Mark Seng; brother, Donald Farber; sisters, Marlene Murray and Lorene (Wayne) McPheron; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; infant daughter, Dorothy Farber, infant son, David Farber; daughter, Winifred Velez; parents, Floyd and Winnie (Vanderwest) Farber; brother, Leonard Farber; and sisters, Kate Long and Janice Strickle.

Visitation is Wednesday, October 17th,  6-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home in Shelby. The funeral will be held Thursday, October 18th,  11 am also at funeral home. Interment Fruitland Township Cemetery.
