Everett A. Ayers, 84, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at home.  He was born October 7, 1940, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Everett and Leona (Lindquist) Ayers.

He married Catherine M. Pretty "Sis" on October, 10, 1959.

Everett is survived by: his children, Laurie (Thomas) Aho, Dustin (Sarah) Ayers and Dawn (Fred) Thiele; grandchildren, Lindsey and Austin Trantham; many nieces and nephews.

Everett was preceded in death by: his wife Catherine “Sis”; parents, Everett and Leona Ayers; siblings, John Ayers and Betty Stover. 

A celebration of Everett's life will be held at a later date.
