Donald LeRoy Thebo, 66, peacefully took his last breaths and left his Earthly body on the night of July 20th, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on July 14th, 1958, in Victorville, California, the son of Dale Eugene Thebo and Louise Alene (Miller) Thebo.
Don had few passions in life that superseded his desire to create. While skilled in the use of many different artistic mediums, his greatest gift was woodworking, to which he would choose as his career path. Over the course of many years, Don worked diligently in West Michigan as a carpenter, finishing out his career at Wildflower Refinishing in Whitehall, leaving behind a plethora of happy customers, and lifelong friends.
Don was an avid outdoorsman, his passion only coming to a halt when his health conditions were too great. When Don wasn’t crafting or outside, he was learning. Don immersed himself in learning about both the great mysteries of life and everyday topics. He eagerly absorbed information and was always happy to share his knowledge with others. His close family and friends are well-acquainted with a wide range of subjects thanks to his enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge and having in-depth conversations.
Don is survived by his loving wife of forty years: Lisa Anne Thebo; four children, Nichole, Rebecca, Johnathan, and Savannah; brother, Scott Thebo; and four adoring grandchildren, Wyatt, Alison, Isla, and Maven.
Don was preceded in death by: his parents, Dale Eugene Thebo and Louise Alene (Miller) Thebo; and brother, Charlie Thebo.
