Dennie Alan Hagner, age 75, of Montague, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 in Muskegon. Dennie was born May 25, 1946 in Highland Park, Michigan to Everett A. Hagner and Theda J. (Avery) Hagner.
He lived in the Detroit area for a few years before moving to New Era. Dennie graduated from Montague High School where he met his future wife, Charlotte (Roltsch). They settled in Montague. She preceded him in death on August 23, 2018. Dennie was employed as an electrician at Misco-Howmet for nearly fifty years, retiring at the age of 69. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Dennie enjoyed making stained glass. He also enjoyed supporting Charlotte's love of quilting by visiting many, many quilting shops over the years.
His children are Tracy Hagner (deceased), Tim Hagner (and Jessica Nash), Tammy (Mark) Brandt, and Tina (Noah) Wasley; his grandchildren, Caitlin (Mario) Flores, Tyler Hagner, Olivia Hagner, Cameron Brandt, and Christian Brandt; his great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Flores; brothers, Larry (Faithe) Hagner and Jimmy Hagner; and his sister, Chris (David) Warren.
A celebration of life is planned by the family in the spring on a date to be announced.
