Christine Marie Lewis, 34, of Grand Rapids, passed away, at home, March 10, 2022. She was born August 15, 1987, in Shelby, the daughter of Steve and Jeanette (Spicka) Lewis.

Christine’s name is a combination of two of her auntie’s middle names: Auntie Joan Marie & Auntie Linda Christine. Christine’s friends knew her to be larger than life; if she called you a friend then you were blessed. Christine was incredibly loyal and thoughtful of those she kept close.

Above all else, Christine loved being a mother and spending time with her family. She loved to cook, go to concerts, try new restaurants, read, attend pow wows, and all things Harry Potter and indigenous. Christine’s favorite place to go was Universal Studios. She loved the holidays and was always the most festive person in the room. She brought love and laughter to all those close to her.

Christine met her significant other, Curtis Davis, at 15 years old. Together they built a life and raised two beautiful children. Curtis survives her along with their children, Cameron Lewis and Alise Lewis; her parents, Steve Lewis and Jeanette Lewis; and sister, Amber Lewis.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow immediately after at The Ladder Community Center, 67 North State Street, Shelby.
