Carol Lynne (Brauer) Schiller, born August 13th, 1950, went to rest on May 12, 2022 surrounded by those she loved and who loved her most in this life. She loved big and with everything she had. She was selfless, generous, and one of the funniest, most zany people one could meet.
Carol was constantly thinking of others and was willing to give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. Her life was dedicated to loving and caring for her husband, her children and her grandchildren and she was so proud of her family. She loved her dogs and grand dogs, which are mostly rescues, who brought her so much joy. She also adopted humans along her seventy one years and just like her beloved dogs, they became family. No matter where she went or the circumstances, she could make a good friend and then keep them close for decades in most cases. If you were her friend, she was fiercely loyal and sincere, but you had better been ready to hear what she thought or what she had to say.
She was colorful and unapologetically herself. Everyday she experienced “magic time”, which was when the morning light would hit all of the prisms and stained glass in her living room windows just right. Carol casted her own rainbows in the form of love and caring over everyone in her life in the same fashion.
She loved dragonflies and they would frequently land on her to rest while she would enjoy the sunshine with her dogs. If you see one, say hello because it’s most likely her checking on you. If you happen to have a bird surprise you with a gift from above, you probably know what you did.
Carol didn’t want a memorial service. She lived her life in a way to be in touch and present with everyone important to her so that there wouldn’t need to be a gathering without her when she was gone. Carol leaves behind many, many people who loved her and joins many that she loved that passed before her.
