Brian L. Hukill

Brian L. Hukill, age 47, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at home after fighting a two year battle with cancer.  Brian was born October 18, 1971 in Hart, the son of Robert and Mary Ann (Page) Hukill.  

Brian attended school in Shelby.  He married Dawn Graham on May 22, 1993.  He  owned and operated Benona Shores Golf Course.  He very much enjoyed working the golf course and the fruit farm.  He cherished  the friendships made with employees and customers.

Brian is survived by his wife, Dawn; his children, Brianna Hukill and Tyler Hukill; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kirk and Kimberly Graham and Gerald and Kimberly Badgett; his niece, Emmaly Badgett and nephews, Ean Badgett and Isaac Graham; his beloved dogs, his Black Lab, Baloo and his Greyhound, Tia and many very close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Kathleen Graham.  

Visitation is Thursday, February 7th from 5-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home and Friday, February 8th, 1 pm to 2 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church west of New Era.  The funeral service will be held Friday, February 8th, 2 pm at the church with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating.  Memorials to the family for medical expenses or memorial gifts to Harbor Hospice, 1050 W.
