Brenda Sue Bartlett, 67, of Montague, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024.  She was born October 29, 1957 in Shelby, the daughter of Robert and Thelma (Hopper) Baker.

 
Brenda was born and raised in the White Lake Area. She attended Whitehall Public Schools. She met and then married Todd Bartlett on February 4, 1977. Together they lived in California, Pennsylvania, and New York before returning to the Montague area to continue raising their children. 

Brenda enjoyed participating in worship team at Rothbury Community Church where she was a member. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends, taking drives, but most importantly she enjoyed her family. Brenda loved her grandchildren and having them around. She loved telling stories of their accomplishments and shenanigans. 

Brenda spent the last several years taking care of her husband, Todd Bartlett. She was a devoted wife beyond measure. 

Brenda is survived by: her husband of 47 years, Todd Bartlett; children, Leah (Daniel) French, Kyle (Angela) Bartlett, and Corey (Rachel) Bartlett; grandchildren, Isaac French, Hunter French, Kaden French, Ava Bartlett, Josiah Bartlett, Charlotte Bartlett, Jude Bartlett, Jonathan Bartlett, and Abigail Bartlett; brothers, Steve Baker and Jeffrey (Melody) Baker.

Brenda was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Thelma.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4 pm, Friday, July 5, 2024 at Rothbury Community Church, 2500 W. Winston Road, Rothbury, Michigan, 49452, with Pastor James Enns officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3 pm until the start of services at 4pm, at Rothbury Community Church.  A luncheon will follow.
