Beverly (“Bev”) Ann Leimback, 68, of Hart, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022. She was born on September 12, 1953, and raised in Riverview, Michigan by her parents, William and
Alice (Farkas) Moineau.
Beverly was married to her husband, Daniel Leimback on August 23, 1974. For nearly 48 years, Daniel and Beverly traveled through life together, growing a family with three boys, and watching with love and excitement as the family grew with several grandchildren. Combining their love for their family and love of travel, Daniel and Beverly could often be found road tripping throughout the country to spend time with their children and grandchildren. She cherished her time with her six grandchildren – roasting marshmallows by the campfire on “the property,” singing silly songs, reading bedtime stories, and rocking them until they fell asleep, snuggled up in her arms. Beverly was a loving, dedicated, and gentle, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who always put others before herself.
When Beverly wasn’t busy spending time with her family, she could be found playing softball, golfing, or hitting the pickle ball courts with the ladies of John Gurney Park and the Ladder in Shelby. After retiring from Hanson Cold Storage in 2015 after 39 years of committed service, she picked up on her travels, heading to Arizona, Florida, and California with friends. Yet, even with all of those activities, she still found time to meet up with her siblings for a meal or cheer on her beloved Detroit Tigers.
Beverly is survived by: her husband, Daniel Leimback; sons, Jason (Kelly), Jeremy (Molly), and Justin (Jillian); sisters, Judy (Al) Ericson, Susan (Frank) Sala, Sandy Leonard; brother, Joe (Micki) Moineau; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Ben)Tront; brother-in-law Raymond (Myriam) Leimback; and her beloved grandchildren, Nolan, Harper, Eloise, Hudson, Ruby, and Charlotte.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
