Aimee Jo (Wollert) Walsworth Obituary

Aimee Jo Walsworth, 48, of Rothbury, Michigan, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. She was born October 17, 1975, in Libertyville, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Roujeanne (Sisco) Wollert.


Aimee was a devoted wife, step-mother, and mother whose passion was caring for her children and serving the Lord. She enjoyed baking, southern gospel music, schooling her children, listening to Ronnie and Landon play their instruments, Kimmie’s creative talent croqueting and drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a heart for missions and loved serving at The Ladder, a mission oriented Christian community center in Shelby, MI. Aimee was an incredibly humble person who always put the needs of others before her own. Her smile and effervescence filled any room she was in. 


Aimee is survived by her loving husband, Ron; five children, Megan (Philip) Linville, Rachel (Jacob) Scott, Ronnie Jr., Kimmie, Landon; five grandchildren: Evette, Zinnia, and Jasper Linville, Arthur and Mavis Scott; three brothers, Mike Wollert, Dave Wollert and Pete Wollert.


Aimee was preceded in death by: her parents, Edward  and Roujeanne Wollert; brothers, Jamie Wollert and Joe Wollert.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Monday, July 15, 2024, at Shelby Wesleyan Church, 54 N. State Street, Shelby, Michigan 49455, with pastor Todd Deuling officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of services at Shelby Wesleyan Church.


Harris Funeral Home, in Shelby, is in charge of arrangements.
