William C. "Bill" Schultz, age 85, of New Era, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021. Bill was born May 15, 1936 in Hart to Alfred and Lila (Skinner) Schultz. He was raised in Shelby and married Nancy (Kops) on September 19, 1959.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1960. The Schultz's have lived in New Era since 1960. He was a long-time member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church. Bill was employed at CMI Dearborn for many years before his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; his children, Marcella McClellan, Christine Pumphrey, Tim Schultz, and Todd Schultz; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Dick Schultz and Norman (Judy) Schultz; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 15th, 11 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Benona Township.
