Terry Lee Shaw, 77, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of June 2nd, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born August 27, 1948, in Ludington, the son of Robert and Ruth (Yeck) Shaw.

Terry was raised in Ludington, Michigan, was a proud Michigan State University Alumni, receiving his doctorate from University of Indiana. He devoted his life to honoring his community by serving on many local boards and as Prosecuting Attorney for both Mason and Oceana County’s. He was honored for achieving 50 years of membership in the State Bar of Michigan for his service to the legal profession and public.

He is survived by: his wife, Marcia Shaw; children, Kimberly (Tim) Harris, Misty (Chuck) Persenaire, and Amber Shaw-Rogers; fourteen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Terry was proceeded in death by: his parents, Robert & Ruth Shaw; brother, Greg Shaw; son, Shane Shaw.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 am, Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 3258 North 72nd Avenue, Hart, Michigan 49420, with Pastor Ryan Vander Zwaag officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, until the time of services at the Church. A luncheon will be provided.

He will be forever be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, faith, and love for his family.
