Terry William Jager, 84, of Montague, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2026. He was born on January 12, 1942, in Muskegon, Michigan, to Jacob and Lillian (Fisher) Jager.

Terry lived a life marked by strength, dedication, and love for his family. He was a proud father whose greatest joy came from spending time with those he loved. His warm smile, sense of humor, and caring heart will be remembered by all who knew him.

Terry is survived by: his children, David Jager, Amy (Roger) Reveyrand, Deb (Greg) Herin, and Mark (Joan) Larsen. He also leaves behind many cherished family members and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts including his sister Merry Joy, 10 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jacob and Lillian Jager; beloved wife, Jackie; and sons, Todd, Scott; and grandson, Jacob.

Those who knew Terry find comfort in knowing he has been welcomed home by the Lord and reunited with the love of his life, Jackie, as well as the many loved ones who went before him including sisters Charlene and Connie brothers Larry and Brad.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, 267 North Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery, 5390 Dowling Street, Montague, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: White Lake Senior Center, 8741 Ferry St, Montague, MI 49437 or American Red Cross, 313 W. Webster Avenue, Muskegon, Michigan 49440.
