Tammy A. DeVries, age 53, of New Era, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was born November 24, 1968 in Shelby to Dale and Ruth (Suchon) Wentlzoff. Tammy married Larry DeVries on December 8, 1990.

She had been employed at Ajax Imaging before working at Great Lakes Energy the past fifteen years. She enjoyed camping with dear friends, scrapbooking and reading. Tammy  had been treasurer for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She was a dog lover and a horse lover.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Larry; her son, Dakota "Cody" DeVries; her parents, Dale and Ruth Wentzloff; her brother, Tim Wentzloff; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Sharon DeVries; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd and Kara DeVries; nephews, Everett Wentzloff, Cameron DeVries, Spencer Morse, Devon DeVries, and Tanner DeVries; aunts, uncles, cousins, and great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Maddy Mae and Lily.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 10th, 11 am until the funeral service at Noon, both at St. Stephens Lutheran Church west of Shelby. Interment will be in Benona Township Cemetery.  Memorials to the Crystal Valley Care Fund, P.O. Box 451, Hart, MI 49420 are appreciated.
