Shirley L. Parshall, age 95, of Rothbury, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at home.  She was born March 19, 1924 in Detroit, the daughter of Carl and Florence (Govan) Avery.

Shirley was raised in Detroit.  She was a bookkeeper for Twin Lakes Golf Course for several years and at several restaurants before her retirement.  She married Richard Parshall on October 10, 1977.  He preceded her in death on March 14, 2011.  Shirley lived in Mio many years and moved to Florida in 1990.  She returned to Michigan to live in Otto Township, Oceana County in 2008.

She is survived by her children, Keith (Susie) Kaider, Dianna (Steve) Schumann, Karli (Roy) North, Sandy (John) Risi, Ted (Glenda) Parshall, Kip (Dee) Parshall and Kort (Kristi) Parshall; her brother, Carl Avery, Jr.; nineteen  grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her  parents, her son, Carl Kim Kaider and her sister, Jacquelyn Kalmbach.

There will be no services.
