Sharon K. Mitchelson, age 77,  formerly of Shelby, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020.  She was born January 19, 1943 in Muskegon.  Sharon lived in the Muskegon area most of her life until moving to Hudson, Florida.

Sharon was employed for many years at Misco-Howmet.  She grew beautiful roses and peonies.  She enjoyed sporty cars and did beautiful cross stitch.

She married Gerald Mitchelson on November 24, 1972.  He passed away July 30, 2015.  Sharon is survived by her son, Bryan (Colleen) Crozier of Shelby; daughter, Abigail Mitchelson of Hudson, Florida; grandchildren, George Zager, Evan Zager, Keith (Colleen Sarah) Crozier, JoAnna (Elijah) Towne, Jenny (Matt) Routley and Ryan (Karen) Crozier; great-grandchildren, William Crozier, Avianna Crozier and Gunner Crozier; her brother, Martin (Michelle) DeMoulpied; and niece, Debbie (Chris) Enzor.  Besides her husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Eva (Clarence) DeMoulpied and Leonard (Betty) Rozek, her daughter, Melody (Rick) Zager, sister, Judy (Albert) Wilson, and nephew, Jeff Wilson.

A private family memorial service will be held.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Montague.  Please consider Harbor Hospice, 1050 W. Western Avenue, Suite 400, Muskegon, MI 49441 as a memorial.
