Robert Lee "Bob" Postmus of Twin Lake, age 84, passed away Monday, August 2nd at Poppen House in Muskegon.

He was born January 13, 1937 in Holland, MI to Herman and Johanna (Meurer) Postmus.  He married Karen A. (Weesies) Postmus on September 7, 1956 in Rothbury and she preceded him in death on November 1, 2009.

Bob owned and operated Postmus Mechanical Plumbing and Heating.  He was a member of Ferry Memorial Reformed Church.  Bob loved fishing and enjoyed trips to Canada, Alaska and the Florida Keys.  He enjoyed summers at his place on White River.

Survivors include son, Mark (Jodie) Postmus of Hudsonville, two daughters, Jill (Ken) Medema of Delton, MI and Joan (Mark) Schmiedeknecht of Twin Lake; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim DeKryger, Larry and Joyce Weesies, Rich and Dianne Weesies, and Jerry and Gretchen Weesies.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; son, Kent E. Postmus; brothers, Merle and Terry and sister, Maxine DeKryger.

Services for Bob will be held Saturday, August 7th, 2021 at Ferry Memorial Reformed Church with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am.
