Ms. Rita Bernadette Weber, 61, of Shelby, passed away suddenly, surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday, October 21, 2022. She was born October 17, 1961, in Shelby, the daughter of John and Margaret (Christian) Weber.

Rita worked many jobs throughout her life to provide for her children, who were the center of her world. She loved watching her grandchildren grow and spending all the time she could with them. Rita will be remembered by many as a second mother. She touched so many lives and cared for so many. She was selfless and strong to the end.

Rita is survived by: her children, Roger Schultz Jr, Joseph (Melissa) Weber, and Lisa Weber; grandchildren, Clayton and Emmy Schultz; siblings, Fr. Ronald Weber, Ramon Weber, Margaret Weber, Charles Weber, and Christian (Ruth) Weber.

Rita was preceded in death by: her daughter, Holly Victoria Schultz; father, John J. Weber Jr.; mother, Margaret E. (Mickey) Weber; and brother, John B. Weber.

Visitation, with a time of sharing, will be held from 2 pm until 4 pm, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Harris Funeral Home, 267 N. Michigan Avenue, Shelby, Michigan 49455.
