Rachel A. Hughey, age 94, of Rothbury, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on July 4, 2019.  She was the only child of Clarence and Anna Noaker.  Through her marriage to Willard Hughey in 1941, she was blessed with a large family.

Rachel was a member of Rothbury Community Church for fifty-three years and lovingly taught Sunday School for the past forty years!  She was employed by Kysor Company of Cadillac at Rothbury for many years before her retirement.

She leaves behind several generations of nieces and nephews; her entire church family who shared a mutual love; special niece, Marilyn Inman; and special friends, Sherri (Doug) Bromley and Janette Small.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard in 1974.

Visitation is Monday, July 8th, 3 pm until the funeral service at 5 pm at Rothbury Community Church, 2500 W. Winston Road, Rothbury.  Pastor James Enns will officate.  Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rothbury.  Please consider Rothbury Community Church as a memorial.
