With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Nancy June Anderson, who peacefully passed away on July 23, 2026, at the age of 87.

Nancy was born on June 18, 1939, in Shelby, Michigan, to Russell and Doneta (Rouse) Easton. She spent her life building a legacy not measured by wealth or accomplishments, but by the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unconditional love.

Nancy was first married to Dan McClellan, and together they welcomed six children. She later married the love of her life, Bruce Anderson, and together they were blessed with three more children. Nancy and Bruce shared 30 beautiful years of marriage before his passing in 2000. Though losing Bruce left a place in her heart that could never be replaced, she was fortunate to find love and companionship again with Frank. Together they made wonderful memories attending car shows, taking leisurely drives in the Corvette, enjoying dinners at Big Boy, wandering the aisles of home improvement stores, and ending so many evenings with a stop at Dairy Queen. It was never about where they went—it was about the joy of being together.

Nancy dedicated many years of her life to the retail industry, where her warm smile and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike. She finished her remarkable career at Silver Creek RV Resort at the age of 80, proving that age was never a barrier to doing what she loved.

To know Nancy was to know kindness. She had a heart that never seemed to run out of room for anyone who needed it. Her home was a place where everyone was welcome. Whether you were family, a friend, or a friend of one of her children or grandchildren, you could count on a warm meal, a listening ear, and a hug that made everything feel a little better. She gave without expecting anything in return, always putting others before herself. If someone needed help, Nancy was already on her way.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—baking for those she loved, tending to her garden, crafting beautiful things with her hands, and creating a home that was always filled with warmth. But nothing brought her greater happiness than her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and every moment spent with them was a treasure she held close to her heart.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Anderson; her cherished companion, Frank; her son, Steven; her daughter, Rebecca; her parents, Russell Easton and Doneta (Rouse); and her sister, Sandy.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing that Nancy’s love will continue to live on through the family she cherished, the traditions she created, and the countless memories she leaves behind. Her gentle spirit, selfless heart, and unwavering love shaped generations, and her absence will be deeply felt by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

There are some people who simply make the world a better place by being in it. Nancy was one of those people. We will miss her laughter, her wisdom, her open door, and the way she made everyone feel like they belonged. While our family grieves this tremendous loss, we are forever grateful for the 87 beautiful years we were blessed to share with her.

Per Nancy’s wishes, no funeral or visitation services will be held. Her family asks that those wishing to honor her memory do so by sharing a meal, lending a helping hand, or opening your heart to someone in need—because that’s exactly how Nancy lived every day of her life.
