Michael D. Vogts, age 45, of Bitely, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Mike was born April 13, 1976 in Albion, Michigan. He married Amanda (Fick) on March 4, 2017. He was employed as a 911 dispatcher for Newaygo County. Mike was an active member of the Lilley Township Fire Department and a first responder.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda; his children, Melanie, Faith, Mason and Hannah Vogts; his father, Michael Vogts; his mother, Joy (Randy) Giles; brothers, Eric (Brittany) Vogts and Dylan Giles; niece, Riley Fick and nephews, Ryvre and Graysen Fick; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Terry and Deborah Fick and their son, Scott (Mallory) Fick; Amanda's grandmother, Joan (Roland, deceased) Brooks; Amanda's aunt, Sue (David) Aune and their daughter, Hannah Aune; and Amanda's uncle, Jim Schneider.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13th, 1 pm at Bitely Community Church.
